

Are Rabbis becoming more ‘social’?
A snapshot of twitter activity in the month of December shows that Rabbi Sacks is still the most active Rabbi in the UK generating the most tweets and replies during the period and with more than 36,000 followers. But his successor Rabbi Mirvis has made a good start after only a year in office and appears to be drawing a level of interest that is disproportionately higher than the his growing number of followers would suggest.

HarperCollins the bookpublisher was quickly on the backfoot after the Mail Online revealed that its new Atlas aimed at schools in the middle east had omitted mention of Israel. Gaza and Jordan are included on the map, but Israel is not labelled. After a massive adverse tweet reaction to the news, Harper Collins was forced to retreat saying "HarperCollins regrets the omission of the name Israel from their Collins Middle East Atlas. 'This product has now been removed from sale
